Lately Satan has tried to throw things in my direction to prevent this trip from happening but I know that he won't succeed because my God is greater!!!  I've had more people praying for this trip probably than any other trip I've been on.  I know that God wants to use me and that Satan is scared because of that!  I want to proclaim Christ boldly on this trip!  When I leave Madagascar I want to have pointed everybody I meet towards Christ and for them to know how to have a relationship with Him.  The Lord is good! Praise the Lord!

I'm so amazed at how the Lord always provides for me!  I haven't even really asked for people to donate monetarily towards my trip but yet the Lord is providing the finances that I need to go! It has come in small ways and in big ways but the Lord always provides!! 

A few days ago I talked to one of my professors at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Dr. Keith Eitel.  He reminded me that I am doing the Lord's work!! He was saying that he tells students that they are not asking people to donate money to them, but they are asking people to donate money to God's work!  By asking people to give financially towards what God is doing in Madagascar I am giving them the opportunity to pray! They are also blessed to play an integral part in what the Lord is doing in Madagascar! Praise the Lord for professors who challenge me and remind me who I am serving!!

Salama! Welcome to my blog about Madagasar!  In 67 days we will be leaving for Madagascar!  It is going to come so fast!  I am excited to see how the Lord will work in Madagascar and to see how He is working already!!  I will be in Fort Dauphin until June 6th.  On June 6th, I will be flying to Tulear.  In Tulear I will be working with a hands on girl, a journey girl and 1 or 2 more girls.  The hands on girl recently emailed me and another girl who is going and we started talking about what we will be doing this summer.  It will be exciting to see how the Lord uses our different gifts as we proclaim the gospel to the people of Tulear!  It's amazing how God takes the things that we had no idea why they happened and uses them to shape and mold us for His service!  Praise the Lord!!
